"We sent 9 bird and several mammal carcasses for skeletal preparation to Luke, with support from the Preservation of Industrial and Scientific Material (PRISM) fund. We wanted the birds to be mounted as in flight, one mammal skeleton to be mounted and the rest of the mammals to be disarticulated.
Luke prepared the specimens within the stated timescale, to a really high standard. We were very happy with the bird mounts, which included the meticulous task of articulating two robin skeletons amongst others!
We are very satisfied with the work done - all the information was kept with the specimens, and Luke regularly contacted us just to keep us informed about what stage the specimens were at.
We are looking to add a few more skeletons in flight to the ones we have, and are in contact with Luke about this!"
