Whippet (Canis lupus familiaris) A
M023
Domestic animal worldwide
This particular skull shows a terrible bone disease that would have casued the animal great pain and distress. This is the result of a poor diet and lifestyle in captivity. The skulls is so weak that a bracer has been attached to the palate just to keep it together. It's a wonder the animal coul do anything with such weak bones.
A perfect display piece for a vet's clinic to show what not to do with your domestic pets.
Though the skull is in terrible condition, this is the main focus of it, hence the A grade.
